A Norwegian spruce cone flooded with tinted casting resin from Alumilite (known on the composites market as Alumilite resin).
Well processed, not too brittle, in the finished form on the handle looks absolutely amazing.
Requires a little flattening. Due to the peculiarities of the lump structure, it is difficult to kick all the air out of the resin even in a good vacuum, so in some dies inside there may be small small bubbles (very small).
It is sold in sets of dies 130/52/29 mm. 5,1”/2,0”/1,1” (1 piece).
For the manufacture handles of tools, small woodworking operations, for artisans, for crafting.
The blanks were in a vacuum, but small cavities may be found inside the cone itself during the treatment, which will need to be filled with resin when finishing the handle.
