Banno Bunka- Bocho knife

I have sharpened and polished the knife and it is now perfect . My brother who is a chef asked to borrow it and after 2 weeks of using it , he considers it a " Goldilocks " knife - not too big , not too small , not too heavy , not too light , the blade depth not too shallow, not too deep. In short a perfectly balanced and designed vegetable and fruit knife . He asked me to sell him the knife , but instead I will be giving him the knife as a Christmas present , considering how difficult it has been for the restaurant business thi year . Best Regards Chris Rafferty

This is a great story! I'm very glad your brother appreciated this knife!

Blade sharpness

The blade was not very sharp and not polished like other blades purchased from yourselves . I am at present sharpening and polishing the blade myself !

Hi. Thank you for the purchase!
- But sharpening the blade is an individual moment. Each owner sharpens the knife 'for himself'. It is possible that the angle of sharpening on this knife - was not convenient for you.
- The blade was not polished, its finish 'matte satin 1000 Grit'.
